Description
Our premium tuck point blade is designed for fast, clean removal of mortar, grout, and other joint-fill materials between brick, block, stone, and concrete. These square segmented blades are available in .250″ (1/4″) and .375″ (3/8″) widths to suit varying joint sizes and material types.
Blades in the 4″ to 6″ range are typically used on angle grinders to tackle mortar joints in vertical or overhead walls, tuck pointing for brick repair, and faux grout line scoring on decorative surfaces. For slab work or concrete control joint maintenance, the 7″ and 8″ options mount to walk-behind saws and deliver greater stability for deeper joint cleaning or concrete prep.
Each tuck point blade features a 10mm tall segment and premium bond formulated to withstand abrasive mortar materials. Proper bond composition allows the blade to wear evenly and maintain edge sharpness while resisting segment loss. Blades may be used wet or dry, but dry cutting should always be paired with dust containment.
To meet OSHA’s latest regulations on respirable silica exposure for tuck pointing and concrete grinding tasks, we recommend pairing this blade with our Dust Mizer 005 Dust Containment Assembly. It allows compliant collection of airborne particles and ensures safe job site operation.
