A 5” variable speed grinder complete with a urethane Avenger shroud with convertible flipper, cup wheel adaptor nuts, collar, flower washer and spanner wrench.

Our Urethane Shrouds are very durable as there are no wearable parts. Shrouds should last 3-4 years under normal conditions. Shrouds flex to adapt to concrete contours but are rigid enough not to let the blade tear through them. There are no bottom brushes to have to replace. Shroud accepts 4″ 4.5″ and 5″ cup wheels or 4.5″ abrasive Discs (blades are normal 5/8-7/8 arbor or 5/8-11 threaded).
Avenger Shroud Kits are Designed to fit on numerous other makes and model grinders, only the collar is different. They are 95% dustless (dry) when used with a sufficient vaccuum. Shrouds have a 2 1/4″ vacuum port (for 2 1/2″ Shopvac style hoses). Great for indoor or outdoor use, saves cleanup time and your lungs.
Unique convertible flipper design allows for open floor grinding as well as edging dust free in seconds. Flipper flips down around the bottom of the shroud so as not to interfere with the grinder head.
Our threaded cup wheels have the correct offset to be used with our Avenger Kits. If you are using another company’s threaded cup wheels, they may not work as the threaed nut height is too short. Instead you should use 5/8-7/8 arbor cup wheels and use our blade and arbor adapting nuts supplied to gain the correct offset.
